Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you book clearance or property preparation work with us.

These terms apply to work carried out by ClearSpace Property Services (“we”, “us”) for you, the customer. Booking a job means you accept them.

Quotes

Quotes are given free of charge and are based on the information, photographs or site visit available at the time. They are valid for 30 days. If the volume, access or contents differ materially on the day, we will agree any revised price with you before continuing — we do not add charges without telling you first.

Booking and access

A booking is confirmed once we agree a date in writing (email, text or WhatsApp). You are responsible for arranging lawful access to the property, including keys, parking permits or bay suspensions where these are needed. If we cannot access the property at the agreed time, a wasted-visit charge may apply.

What we can and cannot take

We remove general household, garden, office and construction waste. Some items are excluded or require special handling — including asbestos, chemicals, clinical waste, gas bottles and certain hazardous materials. Please tell us in advance if you think any are present.

Please check every item before we start. Once removed, items cannot be recovered. We are not liable for valuables, documents or personal items left in furniture or containers that you have asked us to clear.

Waste and the environment

We are a registered waste carrier and dispose of everything through licensed transfer stations, reuse and recycling routes. A waste transfer note is available on request for any job.

Insurance and liability

We carry public liability insurance. We take care in occupied properties, but we are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear from normal removal of heavy items, or for indirect losses. Any damage claim must be reported to us within 48 hours of the work being completed.

Payment

Payment is due on completion unless we agree account terms in advance. Trade and agency accounts may be invoiced on agreed terms. We accept bank transfer and card.

Cancellation

You can cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the booked start time. Cancellations inside 24 hours may incur a charge to cover the reserved crew and vehicle.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
